Where are some historical places in spain?

Our class is focusing on the years 1474 - 1598, the history of spain from the reign of Isabella of Castile to the death of Philip II, where would be some important places to visit on a trip to Spain?

  1. Toledo, Avila, Segovia, Córdoba, The Alhambra, as well as the many medieval castles in the various regions
  2. Cadiz, where Columbus sailed from. Toledo and the Alhambra the most magnificent Mosque in Europe. Madrid, of course. Zaragoza, churches there have Goya and Velazquez on the walls. It was at Zaragoza the Spanish stopped the French. The Gran Hotel still has bullet marks on it. Also Zaragoza is the only European CIty with two Cathedrals. Moutamin the Emir of Zaragoza invented snow cones for his 60 children. Alcaniz, Tudela, Vivar, Alcala de Henares, Valencia, Almunia de Doña Godina, there are just so many.
