What is the best way to get to Seville from Barcelona?

Hi I'm planning a trip to Spain. Please can anyone tell me what is the best way to travel from Barcelona to Seville. Train or Plane? I would not mind spending 4/5 in the train if it is cheaper than the plane. Please help

  1. train i pick train i did it before much more better
  2. the best way would be in a Rolls Royce.
  3. A flight on July 1st from Sevilla to Barça is 1h25 and is 79€ there are many flights, the next shortest is via Valencia 2h30 with www.iberia.es Then there are different trains http://horarios.renfe.es/hir/index.jsp?page=hjhir130.jsp&O=51003&D=BARCE&AF=2009&MF=MM&DF=DD&SF=NaN&ID=i Look on this page; Garcia Lorca and TREN HOTEL are the same, a slow train but the Tren Hotel will have beds to sleep. AVE is the fastest train, but in this instance it is cheaper to fly, and quicker
  4. Plane is usually cheaper. Look at the low-cost airlines and search engines: www.vueling.com www.clickair.com (now same as vueling) www.edreams.es (like orbitz in the U.S.) You can check train, but it's longer and usually more expensive www.renfe.es
  5. You can FLY for $107 -- $150 1 1/2 hours Fast Train AVE is 5 1/2 hours and is $182 Regular Train is 12 hours $80. So fly
  6. An AVE (5 hours or so) is going to be expensive. Next fastest train takes a lot longer, check Renfe.es for exact times and prices. Spanair would be cheap and quick. They, too, have a website. I'd fly!
  7. The best and by far the cheapest is from Girona (Barcelona) to Sevilla with Ryanair. July flights including taxes are 41€. http://www.ryanair.com/site/EN/
  8. www.renfe.es for the trains To look up prices of airlines, look up www.aena.es, then go to the page of Barcelona a/p and look up the connexions between Sevilla and Barcelona. And then go tho the pages of the airlines. Suggest the train, part of the ride is on high speed.
