How can I get from Granada to Salamanca?

Hello, I am planning to visit Salamanca after studying in Granada for three weeks. After that, I would like to visit Portugal OR just go back to Madrid so I can grab a train to Paris where I can take my plane back home to America. Help please?

1. www.renfe.es is the website for Spain's train system. www.movelia.es is the website for their bus system. If you're doing inter-country traveling though I would recommend looking at a Eurail pass, they can save you a lot of money.
2. I think if you're taking the train, you have to go through Madrid, or Sevilla and then change in Extremadura somewhere. Badajoz or Mérida, something like that. Check the Renfe site for that. They have full schedules. (through Madrid would probably be easiest) Or just fly...How much can it cost to take a spanair plane from Granada to Salamanca? And you'd probably be there in less than an hour! (assuming direct flight, of course...check their site). Trains run directly from Madrid to Lisbon. I think they run through Salamanca...again, Renfe.es
3. Train is your best option. The train goes from Granada to Madrid Atocha station, but your connection leaves fron Madrid Charmartin station. That is not easy to get to if you have a short time between trains. Check out this website http://www.renfe.es/horarios/english/index.html Someone suggested flying. There are very few planes each day to Salamanca and they are expensive. I don't know of any airline flying there from Granada. The only flight I know from Salamanca is to Barcelona.
