What do you think of the name Sierra Nevada?

what do you think? I really like it and I want to name my daughter that, i just want the opinion of the public. thanks!

3. Oh Alice you answered my question about names too, and it really helped! So.. I think Sierra is pretty, but don't name her Sierra Nevada. I think its the name of a place, and if its not, then, it remembers me of a place.. Not sure.. I wouldn't name her Sierra Nevada, but thats just me.. And honestly I cannot think of good names which can fit with Sierra! :\

7. It doesnt flow, they both end in a. Sierra Nevada sounds like a geographical term..sierra means mountain range & nevada is a state. I like Sierra though, Sierra Nicole would sound good though.
8. Just FYI, the Sierra Nevadas are a mountain range but Sierra Nevada is also a fairly popular brand of beer in the US. Just so you know...
9. Sierra is a nice name, but not with Nevada. Together Sierra Nevada sounds like a town. Sierra means mountain adding it ot Nevada would mean Mountain of Nevada.....

11. It sounds more like a place than a name....and I think its the name of a beer as well. Might not want that following her around. Sierra is pretty thought. Maybe paired with Lynn or Renee'. Something simple since Sierra is kind of unique and complex.

14. Sierra Nevada means Snowy Mountains. Name of a mountain range. It'd be like naming a kid Himalaya. I think it's pretty as a name, apart from the geographical association. But I suppose Sierra is becoming more common as a name and most people won't know the middle name.
15. I like the name Sierra. But Sierra Nevada is a mountain range. Is this something you want to name your daughter after? Maybe Sierra as the first name and something else for the middle. I feel like she well get lots of dramas in school with this name!
